The Love Doctor is in…
Not that I am the Dr. of Love or anything like that… But then again, most probably like to believe they are. After all - Love is a many splendid thing. Love can solve so many of the problems we face today. My favorite Love Description is from 1 Corinthians 13: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
It doesn’t matter your ‘religious persuasion’ to say “yea, that IS a great description of LOVE”. I am talking LOVE because February is the Love month, rightly celebrated with Valentine’s Day.
I could go on with all kinds of examples like – Love Your Neighbor as Yourself, even go all business on you with accolades about how much we love doing business with you, or how much we love your referrals and more – but the point is we do love helping people sell and buy real estate. And those people say we are good it!

Aubrey English (Age 4), Hepatoblastoma
Call it a stubborn streak, spunkiness or sass. Whatever you call it, it made all the difference for 4-year-old Aubrey English.
The youngest of four kids, Aubrey was born premature at just under 2 pounds. She beat the odds, but at age 2, her health again took a turn. This time, it was cancer.
Aubrey’s pediatrician discovered a mass on her liver, and she was referred to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where tests soon revealed that she had hepatoblastoma, a rare childhood liver cancer.
Surgeons successfully removed the tumor, as well as 50% of the liver and her gallbladder. Six rounds of chemotherapy followed. “Every round was worse and worse on her body,” says her mom, Mikeon. Aubrey lost her hair. She was weak and struggled to eat.
But still, Aubrey maintained that “fire in her eye,” says Mikeon. And that fire was contagious. “She was so tired and weak, but she still wanted to put on her princess costume and run through the house. She kept us going and pushed us to do and go every single day.”
Now just over a year later, Aubrey is flourishing. Her cancer is in remission. She’s in pre-K and is back to dancing to her favorite “Moana” soundtrack, drawing, painting and bossing around her older siblings.
“She's been fighting since the day she came into this world,” says Mikeon. “She's a miracle.”
